"Tell Us Your E-S-T Story" Contest

OFFICIAL RULES: Sponsored by NAAC (North American Affinity Clubs, Inc). Open to general public. No additional purchase is necessary. Contest judges, employees (and their immediate family members) of NAAC and Nikon divisions, dealerships, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies and all other entities or individuals associated with the development, administration or fulfillment of this promotion are not eligible to win. Void where restricted or prohibited. All federal, state and local laws apply. A prize won by a minor will be awarded to the minor’s legal guardian. Contest begins on Oct. 1, 2011. Videos or stories must be original and not previously published or broadcast. Multiple entries are allowed. Entries must be posted to www.huntingclub.com/nikonEST site before midnight Dec. 31, 2011. No responsibility is assumed for late, lost, damaged, illegible, or misdirected entries. All entries in whole and components of entries become the property of NAAC and Nikon and will not be returned or acknowledged. All entries will be reviewed for appropriate content before they are posted to the site for public viewing. NAAC reserves the right to reject any entry for any reason. NAAC reserves the right to adjust and edit entries prior to posting. Entries will be judged by NAAC staff, North American Hunter editors and Nikon staff on creativity and broad appeal. Judge’s decisions concerning all matters related to this contest are final. Winners will be notified by e-mail and by mail no later than Feb. 1, 2012. Winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, liability release and publicity release. All prizes will be awarded. Limit of one prize per entrant. No cash substitution, transfer or assignment of prizes allowed, except by NAAC, which reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner releases NAAC and all other entities or individuals associated with the development, administration or fulfillment of this promotion from any liability arising out of participation in this contest or the acceptance, use or misuse of the prizes. Winner grants to NAAC and Nikon Inc. the right to use his/her name, photograph, likeness, biographical information, and all copyright rights to the entry, in advertising and promotion without compensation or permission (except where prohibited). Winners’ names and entry may be published in North American Hunter magazine, websites, e-mail and elsewhere at NAAC’s sole discretion.

Prizes will be shipped directly to winners by march 31, 2012

Entry Requirements

Entry must be: A video of not more than four minutes in length depicting an E-S-T (Extraordinary Situation Testing) hunt which depicts the performance of Nikon optics (binocular, riflescope, rangefinder and/or spotting scope) used on that hunt. OR A story of no more than 300 words and including at least one photograph depicting an E-S-T (Extraordinary Situation Testing) hunt which depicts the performance of Nikon optics (binocular, rifle scope, range finder and/or spotting scope) used on that hunt. Video or story must clearly state the type of Nikon E-S-T situation represented, i.e. the dark-EST hunt, the muddy-EST hunt, etc. Entries must be made per the instructions at the entry site www.huntingclub.com/nikonEST.
