This group is directed at those of us like myself whom have not had any success calling Deer for themselves to learn calling from veterans who have had a great deal of calling success for them self.  | zgrimshaw anyone use the M.a.d. growler? i have the M.a.d. grunt snort weeze and heat bleat and they both work great but i was thinking of purchasing a growler and was wondering if anyone had luck with one ?

| jkeeton i've been taking my 2 oldest boy's hunting everytime i go this year . the funny thing about it is i've never seen as my deerin my life . i guess they are my lucky charms . but we've only killed 2 and my middle son has missed 2 as of today. we found a good 8 point 2 days ago and he couldnt get a shot so we backed out and let it cool down until today . so we went back and set up a ground blind and waited . just about dark he walked out and as fast as he came in he made his exit . my son had the best shot he could offer at about 80 yds and missed . this was the first buck he ever shot at and he's down and out about . so i looked and looked for some kind of sign that he hit him and found nothing at all . i told him you win so you lose some . and then i reminded him about the doe we both missed last year . i hope this makes him want to hunt even more
