Hey Gang,

I just got back home from a two week trip to Las Vegas (Antique Arms Show and visiting my friend) and So. Cal. (visiting relatives).
I came home to two large alders down across my driveway and lots of snow still on  the ground.

I'd heard we had some weather issues, but it looks somewhat serious with all the snapped off treetops.

How did everyone fare with the snow, wind, and ice?
While I lost some trees, there was no damage to home or property.

No damage at my house. Had a few trees down but those will make great firewood next year. We lost power for just under 48 hours. All and all we did alright but had to sleep in front of the fireplace. This wasnt as bad as the storm that hit in 2009

I was watching the snow fall while out in the field doing some training for the whole storm and until the most of the snow was gone. Came home to see everything was ok with the wife and kids.
