Well its November and that means the RUT and shot gun season are almost here in Delaware.  Down here in the good ol' slower I am seeing many bucks.  I have 19 on a 14 acre piece I am hunting in Georgetown.  3 are shooters.  It is a bow only spot but man it has so many deer.  The tract butts up to a restricted property and there hasnt been anyone hunting this property in 10 years.  I got lucky.  Been bowhunting four times so far and have seen deer everytime, just not the ones on my camera.

Checked my shotgun stand in gumboro, found a dead 14 pointer 50 yards from my stand.  Either was shot in the butt or hit by a car, either way, it was a shame.  Good news, there are a bunch of fresh scrapes still in the area.  Check out the pic of the dead deer.

Went on a new state wildlife area in Laurel the other day for doe day and only thing I seen was a shooter 10 pointer, go figure.  Well hope to hear stories from all of ya'll.

    Later,

    Will

Are there any firearms areas in DE?  My mom/sister owns property outside of Rehoboth and I've been thru Georgetown many times scrounging auto parts during my visists.  Always see a LOT of deer (used to see foxes too) and wondered what the hunting was like back there.
