Reelfoot lake was the only place doing good through the month of December. The weather finally pushed some birds down in January and everyone seemed to be doing good for a couple weeks and it got slow again. This past weekend during juvenile, their was alot of ducks around and seems that their is still new birds starting to come through. I managed to shoot 2 cases of shells this season. Probably one of the best seasons I have ever had, even though the weather was really mild. I hunted with a friend that is a guide at reelfoot, most of the season. If it wasn't for that, I probably would have had a pretty dull season.

Glad you got to whack a few buddy! I had more slow/bad days than good but managed to run thru a cuppla cases too before it all ended. LA was way more better than either my SEMO or ARK leases....buddy figures there was a total of 70 man-days put in in LA and we whacked around 380 ducks....7 of those man days were mine and all very good but 2.
Was planning on chasing snows in SEMO Feb 19 and a few more days after NWTF Banquet on 18th but current reports are that they are headed North....guess we will see when I get there.

Sounds like a pretty good season to me. I would be happy for a 380 duck season anytime!
