Wow this is the tough year so far. Got bears on camera but all at night. Heard of two nice bears being shot a 563 and 482 so far. How is everyone else doing?

Anyone familair with Ouaichita Nat. Forest for Black Bears. i am heading to Wyoming, and found out Ark has a MZl season beginning when i am passing through on way back, 3 day license is reasonable so I am loading up the 54 cal and going to invest in a license. Plan to camp in the Ouaichita Nat Forest and hunt where I camp. From what i tread, baiting is allowed though i have never hunted Bears over or used bait.

Slow and raining in PA. Was outside before the crack of dawn and seen nothing. Rain is continuous and cold. Seen no tracks but am hunting in a new spot today. Switching back to old spot tomorrow, at least I know there was tracks.

We had a great fall with a couple of our hunters connecting on their first spot and stalk black bears on thier waterfowl black bear hunt with us.  We saw 14 black bears in 4 evening spot and stalks in the grain fields.
