Life Membership Cancelled

I the only LM on here that has had their membership cancelled (more than once)
because of a computer glitch or because according to NAHC, I was dead. It took
over 30 days this last time not even knowing how long my account was down,
emails stopped being answered and because my LM did not exist it would not
accept my membership number with phone calls. When I did talk to a real person,
she was very helpful and my account was up in less than a day. I would have
liked an answer why, how come, again is it going to happen again?? I am missing
a lot of back issues, some of which I would really like to have. The first time
they sent me one back issue and then it all stopped again. I can’t be the only
one this has happened to so I am just curious as to how others have dealt with
this if at all |

mine wasnt quite cancelled but apparently i moved to Brazil |

I feel better now that I get to vent-off.
I got an e-mail telling me that my LM had been cancelled. No reason or explanation as to why. I called a phone # on the e-mail, and a female answered. I asked to talked to the idiot that runs the comp., or sent the e-mail because I wanted a reason. "I don't know how it happened, bla, bla, bla" Maybe I should call them back and tell them that if it happens again, that they can stick their LM where the sun doesn't shine. |

Well it has been just over 2 months since my original post and I have been cancelled two more times since then. Their emails are a general form that has nothing to do with the issue at hand (I should post them for a good laugh). I didn’t die this time but somebody with the same name did. Not same address, not same state, not same town just same name!!!! I keep asking for my back issues but was told that they didn’t have back issues. So I asked them what were the issues called “back issues” that they are selling on their web site. I guess we lost our connection because the line went dead. I now have them on speed dial. It has been three weeks without being cancelled and I actually received a current magazine. We’ll see how long this last….. |

I`ll give you one that was even more fun to deal with, Social security told me that I did not exist for two solid years, that was fun to straighten out. |

NO R CARVER .Just try to convince them that someone is dead .My mother fought them for six months when my dad died .They kept telling her he was still alive .Even after sending his death certificat to them 4 times . |

holly, I'd be willing to bet that if she had cashed his soc. sec. checks, they'd have changed their tune!!!!!! |
