I am looking for a hunting buddy to hunt public or private (if we can find any) lands for deer, hogs and turkey.  I am in West Pasco County and willing to travel short distances (an hour or two drive).  If anyone is interested, PLEASE  let me know.  I'm tired of sitting out hnting season every year because I can't findone to go with.  Thanks.

Being a vet have you considered military installations ie. Northern fl. Alabama, Georgia. Hunting is usually all year around deepening on the game. Also, I know where I am there is no cost to us. I have heard that some pay you to thin out overpopulation.

Thanks, it's been so long since I was in the military I never even considered a base. I'll have to check into that. Hogs are legal all year round on private property down here, but (as yet) I haven't found anyone willing to let a hunter on their property. I guess I'll have to wait until a pet or (God forbid) a child gets attacked by one. It's tough for me to get into the woods since I can't walk more than a few steps and use an electric scooter to get around, so I have to stay near my vehicle. I can't afford an ATV, which is too bad since there are some public WMAs that allow their use within driving distance for me. I pretty much have to set up a ground blind just off abandoned railroad tracks and fire lanes. Which means longer shots at the game, but that's not a problem for me.
