Your best bet would be to email the club and they can send paper work

As holly said, it takes a couple of days, not counting weekends, holidays, and any other days that the staff doesn't feel like doing any work! It should show up on your profile sometime within the next year or so; besides, you don't really expect to get anything to field test, do you?!!!!!!!

Every question that could possibly be asked about the "Field Testing Program", Membership, LM value, etc. has been asked and answered at least twelve dozen times; yet we continue to get the same questions over and over, and new threads started with the same topics over and over! Why can't people just READ THE FUGGIN' FORUMS, and find that their repetitive questions have already been answered repeatedly!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wapiti22, haven't you read any of the dozens of threads about this? I've posted at least two dozen comments about patiently waiting for over 33 years, and I'm not the only one! Since I was a Charter Member ( when the club had about 1500 members all total) to today's membership of close to 900,000, the chances become slimmer and slimmer. Also, as I've already posted dozens of times, I'm waiting to see which comes first...a field test item, or my funeral!!!!!!!! I'm betting on the funeral!!!!!!!!

    Hello everyone!

If you have not field tested anything as of yet, most likely either you have not enrolled in the field test program or your information is not up to date on the Field Test Profile. Since I have become a member almost 11 years ago now, I have field tested several items.

If you have not tested any items since you joined, then I would recommend filling out a Field Test Profile Form; either online or calling and having one sent via snail mail and then fill it out and mail it back. Then you will be put on the list to be picked for a field test. Then once you field test, you have to send in a Field Test Report on the item you tested and also fill out a new Field Test Profile Form to be eligible for another Field Test.

I hope that this helps answer your question. If not, then please contact the club they will be than happy to assist you with any of your questions.

Obviously you haven't been reading any of the over two dozen thread concerning this program. As a Charter Member, my profile has been on file with the NAHC, since 1977, everytime I purchased an item, it came with a questionaire about what we hunted, how many days a year we hunted, what we hunted with, etc. Come to find out those questionaires were field testing profile forms, and every time one was filled out, you went to the back of the line. As the "club" grew and more folks filled out the forms ( remember, they came with your membership packet), we, the original members ( just in case you don't know what a charter member is, we were the first, the original members of the NAHC that the Burkes started way back in 1977), kept getting moved further and further back on the list of potential test items receipiants. Apparantly, those of you who have been members for the last 15 years of so, as well as the absolute newbies, managed to field test items, while us older members kept getting shoved further and further into the background. This just helped to add to the hype and encourage more new members that would pump more cash into the Bill Miller hunting fund! Especially, since apparantly a field testing item was included with the new member gifts, this would help the newbies promote membership to their friends.

Most of us original members are happy to receive our magazines, and a portion of us enjoy participation on the forum. However, your advise to "contact the club", and "they will be happy to assist you" could result in the deaths of members, if they do so, and hold their breath while waiting for a responce!

Since I've been a member since 1977, and have never received a test item, I would like to at least receive some of those rust inhibitor strips, if nothing else, although my mags and the access to the boards are worth the price of admission, some little something after all of these years would be nice.

Read the fuggin' thread, you ain't alone!!!!!!!!!! You can also read at least another dozen or more threads about the same fugged up thing, just look in the LM section, the Misc. section, and several others.

In perusing forums of this club and others that I belong to, it appears to me that the field testing program is a huge spin of prefabricated farce! It is used to sucker the unsuspecting, trusting, hunting fool into joining this club, thinking of what a great value their membership will be for them.
My advice, sit back, read the magazine, maybe use the forums when you need some honest answers to your questions (from members, not owners!), and wish that there was some redeeming quality of value for the money you just got suckered out of when you bought your lifetime membership.
If you have extra money on hand, you might want to meet some new folks by going on a member hunt. It won't really be much cheaper than you can go out on the street and purchase, but you'll be with folks that have been shafted just like you. That means you'll share good company with folks on common ground. Other than that and the magazine, not much else of value with this outfit.

I subitted to be a feild tester at least 5 times even before there was as place online to to it. I then checked my status to see if I was signed up to be one once the club came online. I show my status as not signed up to be a feild tester. I resigned up many times only to go back and check my status and find that it never changed and I was not signed up. The feild testing is a scam. Very few ever see merchandise to test and they see to get everything. I am a life member and have bought a few things the club has offer for sale and still nothing ever came my way to test. If you joined the club to feild test products don't hold you breath.I still get the great magazine and proudly wear the leather jacket I got when I became a life member over 10 years ago.I went to the other area of the forum about this subject and there is more of the same there. I doubt I am even on the list to get somethig to test. I will probaly get something from Santa first. Good luck to the rest of you.

    Hey Everyone,

Bill Miller wrote up an explanation in regards to product testing and I think the information may be able to answer some of your questions or concerns, to view it please click on the link below:

Also, if you have not already enrolled in product testing this will tell you how. There is also other useful information pertaining to some of the other membership benefits offered by the club as well.

    Keep your sights lined up,

    Hey Webmaster,

Sure, Bill Miller wrote an explanation and you kindly provided a link to same but the truth of the matter is this: It is all BS!!!! Obviously you also have not bothered to read the ongoing complaints by innumerable members here. The only useful information would be how to get a refund.  Word of mouth will be the death of this organization then you will be looking for work like lots of us are doing.

    Straighten up your act!

If you join  to serve yourself You will never be Happy or successful"
