I am thinking about buying a Nikon Coyote scope in 3x9 for my .243 yote gun. Looking for some feedback from anyone who has used one.

I won one of these from the online NAHC drawing this summer and mounted it on a Weatherby Vanguard 7mm-08 for my 12yr old son to hunt elk this fall.  It sighted in easily and has very good clarity.  All in all a very good scope.  I have the 4.5-14X40 camo version.  I would definitely recommend it to others.

Also if you do buy a Nikon scope check out the Nikon Spot on Ballistics site at:

    www.nikonhunting.com/spoton

you cna put caliber, scope, zero range and target range and it will show you bullet drop for that range.  I found it very accurate for the 7mm-08.  You can even adjust for temp, elevation, humidity, etc.  A pretty cool program.

    Good luck,

I don't have experience with the Nikon Coyote, but do have other Nikons.  Currently I prefer the Redfield Revolution scopes with the Accu-Range reticle.  Compare prices and decide.  The Redfield scopes are great quality, made by Leupold in the USA and have a Lifetime Warranty as well.

I got a Redfield, it's not camo, but it was a bit cheaper and I do like the Accu-Range reticle with the one circle.
