I bet it wouldn't be to hard to find a prosthetist that would be interested in helping design something that would work. I myself am a bk amputee and I am trying to start up a disabled hunting program and have ran across a few bow items for arm amputees but not at the shoulder. I did here of some custom work done at a place called Kutch Archery in Yamhill Oregon. |

2ndshot, I was able to invent a harness system, with the help of some friends, and some pictures of a mouth release from an older gentleman. I used it last year to hunt Antelope, deer, and elk. I was able to draw #55 and was shooting about 28". I am back to using my arm again, they took out the hardware they put in the first time, and cut off a tendon and screwed it to the head of my humerus.Still hurts, but it works. Thank you for the info, I'll look on line to see about Yamhill. Patch |
