redhawk, just for your information, Obama's father was a native Kenyan ( a country on the continent of Africa, you know the DARK CONTINENT), and his mother was a white woman from Hawaii. Therefore, the fact that there once were slaves in the US, DID NOT come into play, as far as Obama is concerned.

Also, if you will go back and read some (true)history books, you will find that there were slaves in the North, also. Lincoln actually proposed an amendment to the Constitution that would have made slavery a Constitutional law. This was done in an effort to get South Carolina not to seceed from the Union. The reason this didn't work, was the fact that slavery had NOTHING to do with SC's secession, it was a tariff, and state's rights issue.

One more thing you need to study up on, There was never a single slave ship that sailed the sea, that originated in the South. All of the Slave ships were either from England, Spain, Portugal, or NORTHERN states, and the slaves that were brought to this country were already slaves in their native countries in Africa!

Well Im alright with the club And like eagle1953 I just joined not tolong ago but its better to have a lifetime membership then have to pay every month I like the info I get from it and Some of the members help me out with new ideas and I also like the hunting videos But I don,t trophy hunt I hunt for the Meat and the time out in nature it gets me away from the stress of everyday bull crap its relaxing and I spend time with my nephew talking and enjoying his company doing the thing we both love so much but it save,s me on the price of meat from the store that has been filled with all kinds of unnatural crap atleast the game I hunt lives off the natural foods of the land and not govnt processed feedfull of hormones and Antibiotecs.Goodluck on the hunting Season to all of use <<<{{{REDHAWK3}}}>>> Lifetime member David R Zehner From Upstate Troy,New.York.Godbless.

Have been a life member for a few months now and I love it!!. Great mag great books and 2 test products allready that are great. a boneing knife and arrows. Also all the stuff we get for joining is cool to. Cant wait for the trade show in PA tis year. I will be looking for NAHC members, so represent proudly!!

I just like it. I joined in 1989 as there were few magazines that went as in-depth as NAHC.Their "You Take The Shot" feature is my favorite. They should pen it up to more set ups each month and not just the few each month presently. I also liked not having to renew or miss an issue because I forget to renew. I joined up at the Trophy Level. As far as Product testing? I got one small item 15 years ago that, unfortunately, was not as good as the Mfg. had hoped. regardless, I am still here and don't plan on going away! Goof hunting to all!

Well, it depends.
The books were great. But I bought those before I got my lifetime membership. After I refused the first dvd (I didnt need it) the offers ended
Never got the test products
The freebies are all things you can get at Wal-mart. The Gun Case, Vest, and soft mat combined wouldnt be $250 at my local gun shop; but they wouldnt say NAHC on them.
I dont care for the magazine, but thats a preference thing. Some love it, some dont

A simple google search of "Hunting forums" gets About 42,500,000 results (0.04 seconds) (Ive been called a liar on this :lol: )
"hunting club" gets About 795,000 results (0.05 seconds)
So if your really attached to the group here, then maybe its worth it. Otherwise.....

I paid my $400 before I researched; my mistake. There's the rare bit of goodie article, but mostly, I just leave them in the local VA clinic for others.
