Hogs in the Lone Star State!

February 24th - February 28th, 2011

This Texas adventure takes place at Stasney's Cook Ranch in north-central Texas. Located five miles north of Albany, this historic working cattle ranch offers a one of a kind, authentic Texas experience. Founded in the late 1800's by W. I. and Matilda "Dude" Nail Cook, its history as a great cattle and oil ranch is as big and colorful as Texas.

Stasney's Cook Ranch has thousands of acres of premium hunting habitat that has been managed intensively for whitetail deer, quail Rio Grande turkey, and of course, hogs. The ranch has been in the Texas Parks & Wildlife’s Managed Lands Permit (MLP) for many years. In 2008, Stasney’s Cook Ranch was honored to receive the Texas Parks & Wildlife Managed Lands Stewardship award.

For this hunt you will arrive at the ranch on Thursday 2/24 and depart on Monday 2/28. During your 3 days of guided hunting (2:1) you will spot-and-stalk and stand hunt for big Texas boars. You can take 1 hog per day and if you are lucky, you may get a shot at a Coyote!

The $1,425 price includes lodging, meals, field dressing, and transportation to/from the Abilene airport. Additional costs include guide/staff tips, your hunting license ($45.00), and game processing.

For more information visit www.stasneyscookranch.com. To book your hunt contact Johnnie Hudman at 325-280-5967 or wildlife2@stasney.com.
