“Freakish big” is a term hunters love to banter around when describing a buck they’ve just seen. It won’t be long now until a few freakish-big reports will begin spilling from summer scouting trips and scouting camera snapshots. Westerners often take it upon themselves to just “do it.” We did it this weekend, turkey hunting the Western way. I apologize for not having a video of the event.
