I just decoyed in my first buck of the year and what a good feeling it was!

This week I'm back in my old stomping grounds of South Dakota archery hunting rutting whitetails.

 It’s been a warm fall; almost too warm for most of my hunts. That all changed the other day when I awoke to a real, raging blizzard in Wyoming. 

I completed a grand slam on public land with a nice pronghorn and a mature muley.

Sharon and Cole were able to share a great experience and create some memories of their own. 

The Kayser freezer is now officially topped off with elk and another deer should round out our needs for the year.

I'm deep in the high country of southern Colorado chasing elk at the moment.
