I’d like to respond to Shawn Walters’ comments in “MSO” of the Dec/Jan issue, and any disabled person who wishes to have an opportunity to get back into the outdoors, or anyone who wishes to try it for the first time. The National Wild Turkey Federation has an outreach program called the “Wheelin’ Sportsmen,” with events held nationwide. Wheelin’ Sportsmen held 27 events in Ohio last year. Deer, turkey, dove, pheasant and waterfowl hunts, plus many Fishing Roundups, were offered to our disabled friends.
