I hunt a lot of warm weather and we used it this year. It is very good but you have to get a lot of ice to get that initial heat out of the meat. One of the guys we know sunk his in a cold mountain stream(not recomended) and cooled his that way. We have a 5.5 hour drive home and the meat was nice and cold. Accross the desert it was 75 to 80 all the way.
