I have experiance shooting long range with the ar type weapons believe me when it come to your sights .... the blacker the better.. thats why when the marines take the shooting range the have these fire pots that they use to blacken their front and rear sights. Trust me on this on... the black the better.... brightly colored sights will only cause you to loose sight of your target or impair your sight picture. Black and not shiney is best. dont waste your money one pretty colored riffle sights... I dont have to test this product to know what Im talking about on this one.. I have shot at and hit many times target 500 plus yards away with an M16 A2 servire riffle and I am talking about target man sized and smaller...and for those who dont know the M16 and the AR15 are Identical except on a position the selector lever/swith the AR15 can only fire semi auto. the M16 has one other option after safe and semi which is burst. Take this infor from someone who can shoot the bottom out of a soda can at 800 yards using standard sight on and M16 Black sights are Good Sights.
