I am just starting out on my own hunting white tail this year. My boyfriend bought me some boots that are so heavy and they are too big. He thinks that is how it should be so I will be able to wear 3 pair of socks to keep warm. Help! I would like to field test your product!

Are these boots heavy to wear? I have spent the last 12 years trying to find a pair of ladies waterproof boots that are warm enough to keep my feet warm and not so heavy that I can't walk in them. I hunt in the adirondack mountains of upstate NY and the terrain is quite steep so I need a boot that has a good tread for climbing, and are very light weight. It get pretty cold here during hunting season, so the need to keep my feet warm without being bulky or making my feet sweat. Can these do all that?
