The Weatherby Vanguard is a great weapon I use it in .223 for everything from groudhogs to fox/koyote. Very versitite gun. Not a huge fan of the synthetic stock as far as looks go but for functionality and weight it is nice. I have a Mullet 4-24x56 scope mounted on it and even when I dont use hand loaded ammo I can still get 2 inch groups as 400 yards. I have heard many good things about the 257, but have never shot that caliber.

That's an awesome rifle , would love to have one to shot ground hogs. I just started reloading my own amunition. I don't have a small caliber rifle that would be perfect for hunting ground hogs. Could you tell me where i could get this gun for that price?

I have just recently started hunting white tail on my own. I have a Remington 30.06 770, it has a good kick to it. I would like to try some different rifles to see what the difference would be in the handling. I am a female so it does make a difference. I shoot it very well but I hesitate because of the recoil. I would like to test your product, it could help me

I would like to test this product but I know I won’t get a chance to because I haven’t gotten anything in almost 2 years and they were cheap $1.00 items that you get to use once. So I spend over $2000.00+ to become a Trophy Life Member and pay for over price books and coins that I didn’t have the money for but figure I would have a better chance of getting something good but I didn’t. So when I said do not send me anymore books and coins I guess they didn’t want to send me anymore field test products because I’m not helping Mr. Miller and his buddies get to go on these great hunts. I join up for the magazine and free test product because I can’t afford these things but was extremely disappoint when all you get is cheap items at least the magazine is really good

I own two of these rifles - one in .223 Remington and one in .25-06 Remington. They are two of the most accurate rifles in my collection. I routinely get 5 shot groups of 0.4" at 100 yards with the .223 Remington and the .25-06 Remington is just as accurate. I took two nice Wyoming pronghorn with the .25-06 Remington this past fall, dropping a very nice doe at 240 yards with one shot and a 13.5" buck at 140 yards. I don't you will find a better shooting rifle for the price. I do prefer the 54 degree bolt rotation of the Mark V over the Vanguard's, but I can live with that.
