This innovative cleaning system is easy to use. Simply load the shotshell bore cleaners into your shotgun, point in a safe direction, and fire. The primer energy ejects the cord out of the end of the barrel. To clean, simply retrieve the cord through the barrel, thus utilizing multiple pieces that clean, oil, scrub, condition and remove residue—all at once. A micro-thin coating of oil is left to lubricate and protect the barrel.

Does one shell clean the barrel or do you have to use multiple shells? Seems this could get expensive

Sounds like an interesting concept, and perhaps a quick way to clean "powder residue" from the barrel. However, it is very unlikely that a solvent soaked patch, no matter how many, are going to truly "scrub" the barrel clean of plastic and/or lead. That kind of cleaning (which should always be done) is usually going to require a wire brush and solvent, and many times over. I would have to see myself it really to believe it!
