I have a Bigcat Gamo air rifle, and if the Whisper is anything like the Bigcat, it is a good performing air rifle.

I wish I could get one of these to field test. My dad had an pellet gun, that he use to used for hunting squirrel. I have been trying to get it from my mom, since her and my dad divorced, but she says she can't find it. I want one to hunt Rabbit and squirrel with. But I can't afford one, since I am an Unemployed Disabled Veteran, and have been for over 9 years.

I have a Grandson and that likes to go out and shoot with me I have bought a 22/410 for under 100.00 dollars and it is to heavy with a hard kickback he realy cant use it. with my g-son being in scoting I think this rifle having the velocity this one has would be a great starter I would like to test this Gamo’s Whisper .177 caliber air rifle

2 things about this product, First, it's about 30% quieter than ANY other .177 out there. This gun is well balanced for "off hand" shooting as well as from a resting platform. As far as the rest of the gun, I have shot this one over 1200 times and am amazed that it retains the "whisper" quality without packing the end with moisture!!! As far as it's intent, yes!! it's quiet, however the ballistics are the SAME as lets say, a cheaper gun in the same .177 cal. If you desire to be heard less, than this is your gun!!! If you want to hunt, than I'd consider a cheaper "normal" air gun in .22cal.

I would like to test this product but I know I won’t get a chance to because I haven’t gotten anything in almost 2 years and they were cheap $1.00 items that you get to use once. So I spend over $2000.00+ to become a Trophy Life Member and pay for over price books and coins that I didn’t have the money for but figure I would have a better chance of getting something good but I didn’t. So when I said do not send me anymore books and coins I guess they didn’t want to send me anymore field test products because I’m not helping Mr. Miller and his buddies get to go on these great hunts. I join up for the magazine and free test product because I can’t afford these things but was extremely disappoint when all you get is cheap items at least the magazine is really good
