I have used this for the last three years and just remember you have to pay every year for the service. It is nice to let people know where you are but my family could never find me anyway. I leave a map and accidently set it off. My wife sent the to the other side of the state. They found me and I got to pay for the service again. It does not work in big mountains. If ou are hunting the inside of the range it won't connect to satlites. Just like GPS.
