The Stone River Gear Ceramic Hunting Knife features a retractable point protector, which swings forward to protect the point during skinning. The blade is constructed of black zirconium oxide, which stays sharp much longer than conventional steel blades, allowing for quicker skinning time. I would love to field test this knife for you. I am an Army Vet of the 70's and I think I could put this knife through any and all types of test for you.
