The Viscera goes beyond a single-blade knife—it’s a complete field-dressing multi-tool. The 440 stainless-steel blade has the heft and edge to cut through nearly anything you’ll encounter afield. For the heavy work, press the pivot knob and swing out the bone-ripper saw/gut hook and lock it in place.

“The Viscera field-dressing tool just became my choice for going into the woods come deer season. It’s all I need after making a lethal shot.”

Thanks for your time in testing the knife. Now for the questoin. Is the Real Avid Viscera Knife worth the $49.99 that I would have to spend in the store in the view of someone who has tested the product, Scott? How much would you personal be willing to spend.

Personaly I'm not a fan of 440 stainless. I am more into high carbon steel. What do you think about the same kind of knife from the same company but made with high carbon steel instead of 440 stainless.

this looks very similar to the swing blade and the only complaint i have with this product is both blades do not close at once. Other than that there is nothing it is a great product
