I have the thermo cell in both the portable and table top lantern styles and they do work great. I live and hunt in ontario canada and in the bush moose hunting in the early fall the bugs are awful we get black flies as well as mosquitos and other critters and the thermo cell works. However i prefer the off clip on that you can clip on your pocket as it is smaller and it don't take up as muck room as the thermo cell and is easy to pack as you can stick it into ba pocket with refills until needed and the off clip on works great too.In a tree stand you can put it about any where that is conveniently out of the way i realy like mine for use in the boat when fishing as the off clip on is out of the way and not cumbersome as the thermo cell is

I tested the Realtree Thermo Cell and have been truly satisfied with the results. I went out into the woods preparing my deer hunting coming up in September right after a big rain in Tennessee. There were alot of mosiquitos and other fling insects out however, I was not bitten 1 time. I also let my 8yr old grandson use it while playing outside and for the 1st time this summer he was not bitten once. It really is a need to have for anyone enjoying the outside during pesky insect weather. Great assest.

If you are a bow hunter the thermocell is a must, it works great, the mosquitos do not bother you as long as you use it.

On a recent Bear Hunt in Maine with The Foggy Mountain Guide Services,I was given the Mosquitos Thermo Cell,which I used back in Mississippi while repairing my deer stands' not a mosquitos bite,it works great.I have been a Life Member of NAHC for over 25 years and use a lot of NAHC product that they offer.

I and wife spent many hours in the blind hunting bears with Foggy Mountain Outfitters, located in Maine. The bugs were in fill force until the Thermo Cell was turned on. Thermo Cell ON and the bugs were gone. Great product for my sqirrel, deer and turkey hunting.

been meaning to try this but have been wondering if it would affect my hunting. i shot bow and have feeders at 20 to 30 yards. do the deer smell it?

I have 3 of them! Cant say enough about the effectiveness of this product. Ive never had deer spook as result of them. Only drawback is the price of the refills. It's well worth the price though because it really does work like they say it does. With repellent it may keep em from biting ya but it won't stop them from the annoying buzzing around your head. With the therma cell just turn it on and watch em run. It's like the hit a wall when they head your direction. AWESOME PRODUCT!!!
