MEMBER TESTED RESULTS
CHARLES HIPES/TROUTVILLE, VA

“The Badger has all the major features desired in a skinning and field-dressing knife. The blade arrived sharp and the steel maintained its sharpness for many uses.”

KELLY BAPTIST/RIVERTON, WY

“This is a great knife. I love the sheath design with the safety catch. It holds the knife firmly in place yet it’s easy to draw the knife out. Plus, the knife came sharp right out of the box.”

Outdoor Edge makes the best knife for field dressing a deer. Has the flip blade. I field dressed two deer with mine this past season and it's still sharp. I won't use anything else now.

this knife looks okay but i don't need another knife as i own 10 now and my regular hunting knife is a hand made custom six inch one that is great for dressing and skinning.if i bought another knife my wife would skin me as i own over 300 pocket knives now and i am always looking and buying more. ihave pocket knives from one inch long to six inches . i also have some promo knives that are 18 to 24 inches long. but if i were looking for a new hunting knife i definatly consider this knife from schrade they do make excellant knives i have several in my collection now

I've been looking for a good hunting knife. The knives I've used in the past didn't hold an edge the way I like I'd like to give it try to see if it will keep an edge to my liking.

I own a lot of Schrade (Old Timer) knives and have never been dissapointed in any. The nylon shief I don't think I would care for. I'am sold on leather. The last Old Timer I purchased cam with the nylon. I had a leather shief made.
