Each Big Green Target is 100 percent weatherproof and features double-sided targets on the front and back. A proprietary design consisting of a heat-bonded, layered, closed-cell foam outer core filled with a combination of recycled fabric and foam is capable of stopping arrows shot at more than 350 fps. Each target is produced from 100-percent post-industrial waste that, without being put to good use, would have ended up in a landfill. The target measures 20x16x13 inches and weighs 23 pounds. MEMBER TESTED RESULTS
Jon Pickelmann/Saginaw, MI

“This is a great target. It’s made with recycled material, so it is very green. Most importantly, this target had no problems stopping my high-speed arrows!”

Brian Montney/Shepherd, MI

“I couldn’t wait to test this product as soon as the snow melted—especially after reading how this target was made. Helping save the environment, by not adding to the landfills, is always a plus in my book.”

- Did you use field points and/or broadheads?
- Does this particular target work with only one or both?
- Does it work with bows and crossbows?
- How many arrows were stopped by the target?
- Were there any pass-throughs?
- What was average distance from shooter to target?
- What effort is required to extract the arrow/bolt?
- How did target perform in cold/warm/hot weather?
- Any target residue left on the arrow/bolt after extraction?
- What was best/worst of the target?

I'm sure alot of people like the green aspect of this product.
But, that in no way tells me anything about the target. Niether of the testers included anything that tells me that im changing from my rienhardt.

I have one of these tagets. They are fild point only. Arrows pull out easly iunless you hit the side around the target. I have shot this target from a veriety of distances from 10 yards up to 60 yards and have had no pass throus as of yet and have shot over 100 arrows at it from 3 different bows. Great Target. I will highly recomend it.

fshbisket : I would love the opertunity to use this product, I presently use a target of a deer, great practice for that game animal. Would love to break it up a bit by having a target at the other end of my shooting range.

They only published a synopsis of my review. But here is more information and they also list the site. The Item we were given to test only works with field points, and not Cross bows. They have a broadhead target if you go to their site. I used both a 50# recurve, and 70# compound with overdraw. No pass-through, no residue, easy to remove arrows. 20-40 yard testing distances. It’s easy to transport. Temperature didn't really affect it, I have used it early spring, summer, and fall. I didn’t try it in winter.

Oh, and aluminum arrows, I don’t shoot carbon, so I can’t tell how that would affect arrow remove, but my guess is it wouldn’t.

I think it is, it seems to be holding up good to use, I put a little over a hundred arrows in it. They have Broadhead and crossbow targets too.

I would like to test this product but I know I won’t get a chance to because I haven’t gotten anything in almost 2 years and they were cheap $1.00 items that you get to use once. So I spend over $2000.00+ to become a Trophy Life Member and pay for over price books and coins that I didn’t have the money for but figure I would have a better chance of getting something good but I didn’t. So when I said do not send me anymore books and coins I guess they didn’t want to send me anymore field test products because I’m not helping Mr. Miller and his buddies get to go on these great hunts. I join up for the magazine and free test product because I can’t afford these things but was extremely disappoint when all you get is cheap items at least the magazine is really good

I just tested this product with a bow tech destroyer 350 60lbs draw and a Matthews z7 70lbs, and Warrior Crossbow with aluminum bolts. We shot 340 spin 9.3gpi arrows from 10 to 70yds. It is field tip only target. We shot 24 rounds of ten arrows a piece and had no problem with the bows but the crossbow passed threw at greater then 30 yards with the bullit feild tips. We tested at less then 30 deg and above 50deg no difference in performance.
