Foster #17576329 I have like to get this crossbow I tried it at Bass Pro. and with my RA in my sholder and fused neck. The cocking rope ,and the little bit of recoil did not bother me at all as for the weight I am sure I could have carred it all day even walking with my cane
Saturday, September 17, 2011 9:38 AM
I could only dream to own a crossbow like this! This would definitely be "the answer" to an old man too disabled to ever even think of hunting with a recurve or compound bow now.
Monday, September 19, 2011 11:44 AM
why is it worth the trouble to ask to field test when it seems like you never get to field test anything is it only the people who work for the company that gets to field test or what
Monday, September 19, 2011 3:16 PM
ghughes5 Interesting what you said here. I started a conversation wiith a fellow N.A.H.C. member when I saw the N.A.H.C. decal on his truck window, and he said essentially the exact same thing to me that you said here. Although that may or not be actually true?, I personally tend to believe that this oganization would not ever do anything like that as the reprocussions of such if/when discovered would indeed be the demise of this club, and I quite confident that the powers that be at N.A.H.C. would never condone such actions.
Tuesday, September 20, 2011 3:42 PM
well if i can't test it I guest i will buy it and try it out and if I don't like it I will just return it and try something else.

I have brain cancer and used to have alot of seizures so my right side is very weak now and I cant pull a bow anymore.Being able to use a crossbow would be the best thing for me I would love to test this.
Friday, September 23, 2011 10:14 AM
i would like to try it but there might more ppl out there that would be check it out and have better qualtiy s .
Friday, September 23, 2011 3:29 PM
I recently purchased the axiom and agree, great precision. Keep in mind that the recurve style does require more room in a blind or tree stand compared to a compound stye. Definitely one of the best crossbow's for the money!
Saturday, September 24, 2011 1:22 PM
I as well would hope they wouldnt do that because the chance to test was the reson i joined
Monday, September 26, 2011 6:02 PM
#Mr. Ed Monday, Sept. 26,2011 PM I am a bow hunter and I wanted to try a crossbow. Well I did not complain about not having one, I went out and bought one and I love it. I became a life member of NAHC and on the list for field testing. I joined because I believe in the work they do for all hunters not just me.
Thursday, September 29, 2011 2:49 PM
love to have this looks like a lot of fun
Thursday, September 29, 2011 9:31 PM
i read a lot about this crossbow and talked mt exbrotherlaw in get one ,he loves it and so do i its light and quiter than compound and a good speed, now i like to get one and do some good testing on it.i dezind my own compoun bow and overdraw and had Pete sheply from PSE build it for me for the bowdezie not the over draw i got 350 fps with 24in arows 18yr's ago now i cat shoot it now because of a car wreck,i sill use my ben person recurve.recurves are quiter less noise and less weight little longer,if they sorten the lims they would be the best on the market i know how to chang the lims they could knock off 6' on each side ,but dot be discurage the are a great bow i like shoot my exbrother laws, its very dead on best i seen so far and that what counts.

Wednesday, October 12, 2011 10:19 AM
I really need a crossbow.. I cannot get a clean kill with my bow and I don't feel confident shooting it, which really limits my hunting opportunities.
Thursday, October 13, 2011 12:04 AM
I wish I could win this Crossbow, because if I were to win it I would be using it more than I would use anything else when I go hunting.
Tuesday, October 18, 2011 12:24 PM
People , If you would read a little closer , these products have already been tested. Ouit whinning about wanting to test this or that . They have a list and when your name comes up you will get called.
Wednesday, October 19, 2011 3:11 PM
take me off the whinner list because i was not whinning about wanting to test this i was offering a suggestion to those that was doing the whinning. Because if testing product is the only reason a member join the club then he should have did more research on how the club go about their testing process. Because I will enjoy begin a member of NAHC if I never test a product or if I do. That was just not my reason for joining.
Saturday, October 22, 2011 12:20 PM
I put in to try different items, but have not received anything yet. But there are a lot of hunters out there, but i will not give up. I would love to try that crossbow. Thursday, November 03, 2011 7:36 AM
I couldn't afford to go out and buy the Excalibur crossbow so I went out and bought a Barnette jackal crossbow instead and then shot it out 40 yards and hit the mark I love my new crossbow and would recommend it to anyone that wants to buy one
Monday, November 07, 2011 10:20 AM
I tried to sign up to field test today. I did the whole survey and then clicked on submit. Nothing happened. I tried again and again and nothing. Is this another internet scam I've gotten involved in? Also I paid 24.00 for two years membership. Now their telling me I owe another 7.00. I did get a copy of North American Hunter. No wonder they can go on all these exotic trips......we are paying for it.
Tuesday, November 08, 2011 10:28 AM
I've been a life Member since 1999 and have never recieved anything threw the field testing thing that was worth anything.
Friday, November 18, 2011 12:56 PM
i have an old crossbow and would like to compare
Monday, November 21, 2011 2:02 AM
I don' think some of you guys get the idea. This product has already been tested and is being recommended. You have to sign up as a field tester and then be patient. You don't get an item to test as soon as you sign up. You also may not get a major item to test the first time that you are chosen. I have tested a couple of products since I've been a member and each time they get a little bigger and more valuble.
Monday, November 28, 2011 12:53 AM
This bow needs to be in my testfulistic hands lol!

Monday, December 05, 2011 2:13 PM
Two things: 1) I bought this bow this year. BIG PLUS you can let the string off without shootin it like most other crossbows. It is very easy and quick to site in I shot a nice buck with it, The buck ran about 100 yards. the bolt went right through the chest. Some small down sides to cross bows in general (not just this one) Not a accurate as a good compound. (But you need a lot less practice to get 2" groups) Crossbows are make a lot noise. 2) I have been a life member since 1997 a regular member for a few years before that. The club is a good bargin even without the test program. But I HAVE TESTED MANY GOOD PRODUCTS. I always turn in the review sheet large or small product and then I resign up for the test program. It may be a year or so before I get another one to test and some are very small products. So, the point is to use these reviews to help when you are looking to buy a product. This service is worth the price of joining the NAHC. I have bought a lot of things that other have tested and recomended.
Thursday, December 15, 2011 11:21 AM
I have been considering on getting a bow something like this.I think I would like it alot when hunting
Wednesday, December 21, 2011 7:29 PM
I have had to switch over to shooting a crossbow this hunting season due to a shoulder replacement (military related). I use a Carbon Xpress Xforce 300 crossbow I did a lot of leg work and testing to find the crossbow that fit me well. There are many manufactures out there and the price point various queit a bit my suggestions to you is to go out there and try several, many sporting goods stores will allow you to test drive before you buy. I have been a Life Member since 2000 and have not had a lot to test eather but that was not the reason I joined. The idea of field testing is to give us as club members a source to find put about a product from one of us (honest evaluation) not from company sales men.

Friday, February 10, 2012 7:35 AM
The very first thing i ever got was a wet nap. I was young and boy was I upset. I thought I was going to get some big expensive and pretty cool, but I did not. Oh well. Then I did not recieve anything for a while so I quit. Bad mistake on my part. The point is, you have to be paitent. If you don't get what you would like to test, at least you might be able to read about it and learn something. Either way, this is a great club and I am not planning on going anywhere.
Sunday, February 12, 2012 11:25 AM

If you honestly and truely want to test this bow, then go to one of the larger sporting goods dealers, and you can "field test" it till your hearts content.
Saturday, March 31, 2012 10:01 PM
I think this would be awesome to try ,heck if you can hunt with it who wouldn't want to try it.
Saturday, April 14, 2012 9:53 PM

Sunday, April 29, 2012 7:03 AM
to those guys that think you have to work for the Co.. this is not true so stop your whining, because you sound like little girls.. I have had the opportunity to test several products over the years from gun oil to turkey decoys and all I do is reapply as a field tester as my hunting experiences change and grow..
Thursday, May 03, 2012 8:00 PM
Same as #rontaylor. I have been a life member for a while. I got to test this bow last year for the club. They did not publish my review, I gave the bow a very good rating. I like the feel and accuracy. It is as very good bow for someone who wants a good value for your money. I will continue to test any product they send me. It takes a while to get something, but it is worth the wait.
Monday, May 07, 2012 10:00 AM

Monday, July 30, 2012 11:48 AM
I would like to test this product but I know I won’t get a chance to because I haven’t gotten anything in almost 2 years and they were cheap $1.00 items that you get to use once. So I spend over $2000.00+ to become a Trophy Life Member and pay for over price books and coins that I didn’t have the money for but figure I would have a better chance of getting something good but I didn’t. So when I said do not send me anymore books and coins I guess they didn’t want to send me anymore field test products because I’m not helping Mr. Miller and his buddies get to go on these great hunts. I join up for the magazine and free test product because I can’t afford these things but was extremely disappoint when all you get is cheap items at least the magazine is really good
Wednesday, August 01, 2012 4:33 AM
rick69 What you did is nothing but mental gymnastics. It's one thing when someone uses that on you, but indeed quite another when you do this to yourself! Seriously? you spent over $2000.00 to become a Trophy Life Member, and then on top of that you also purchase over priced books and coins!? Go figure????
Wednesday, September 05, 2012 7:44 PM

Sunday, March 31, 2013 2:34 PM
