I have a 45-70 and I can not find a scope that will not knock off the cross-hairs.But this scope I have used before and it is okay.On a scale 1-10 i give it a 8.9!

I'VE BEEN THINKING OF TRYING WEAVER FOR SOME TIME NOW, I'VE BEEN USING A 4-12-40 BUSHNELL ON MY REM 700 30-06 . IT'S OK FOR A 150 YARDS . HOW GOOD IS THE WEAVER, IS IT BETTER OR THE SAME. AT 200 YARD IT'S HARD TO SEE A GOOD KILL SPOTS

I too have tried this scope and found the optics very clear. The one thing you do have to make sure of is that you keep the AO adjusted for the yardage you will be shooting. Its not clear unless you dial in the correct yardage.
