The Quick-Shot is a belt-mounted shotgun and rifle holster designed to support the weight of your firearm while keeping it in a ready position. The Quick-Shot holster helps reduce hunter fatigue by transferring up to 75 percent of the weight burden of your firearm to your legs and helps keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction—plus it frees up one hand. I consistently hunt birds and I am a slightly heavy built man and was wondering how this would work for some of us hunters who have a slight overhang of the belt :) Curious as to the comfort for such a person who loves to hunt but not the average size hunter.

# TheHook Thursday September 1 2011 1:15 am I go to the range as much as i can and i just picked up sweet new shotgun to do some trap and skeet shooting. I have a bad back and this holster looks real good. This way i won't have to rest it on the ground waiting for my turn to shoot. I want to keep this gun sweet.

I decided not to see if i would get to test one so i picked one up. I went to the range and with hunting season coming up the place was a mad house. Standing around for my turn to shoot it took the strain of my back plus with all the people standing around the only safe direction for the barrel was up. Can't wait to use it hunting.

Purchased one of these direct from the manufacturer and would not recommend. Used it for pheasant hunting this fall and couldn't get it adjusted correctly, as you walk it shifts all over-left/right, up/down, etc.
Might be ok in warm climates where layering of clothes is minimal but in cold weather I found it more trouble then help.

I dig your problem. When walking through the bush to push out some game it could move around. Try it when your not moving around like in a duck blind or at a range or siting still waiting for a 10 point Buck to show then you might like it. Good Hunting and HAPPY NEW YEAR. P.S. Im not in to Politics BUT theirs allot of people that want to take away are God given rights to bare arms so do a little checking before you vote.
