I put a 3x9 onboard a rem 243. It was very difficult getting the cross hair square with the barrel. There was a one shot delay when adjusting windage and elevation, meaning the recticle would not adjust until a shot was sent down range. Once sighted in it held point of impact at all powers . Really like the feel of quality at a price that allows me to buy more ammo for practice time.

I have 2x7x32 Redfield on Ruger 10-22 sport, The scope after sighting has worked very well it took 3 shots to zero.. Very happy with it's perforance The best thing about the scope is that it's made in the U.S.A. Thank you Redfield for keeping jobs in America..... Phil G......

i have been lusting after this scope for quite some time.my simmons atec just died on me and i wont even start to describe what a piece of junk it turned out to be. thought i was getting a deal as the simmons retail was higher than the redfield.another bad choice to save a few bucks, there is a reason these big retailers get these products with 60% mark downs.i am in the process of getting the redfield now,the dealers seem to all be out of stock on the one i want. made by leupold in Oregon with a great warranty.dont make the same mistake i did. it will cost you less in the long run to buy the best optics you can possibly afford.bill guth gunsmith

This looks like a quality scope. I've been wanting to put one on my 30-06 for quite some time now, since deer season is around the corner this would be perfect for those long shots.

No one that is a NAHC. dues payer is gonna get to test any thin these guys are just blowing smoke up our butts, the idea is to put this idea in you head, the names of the testers are actually somebody that's part of the company, the thing is to get you buy this stuff and keep us in hopes that one day you will get to test something, did you get the knifes to test? bunch of crap, dull with the tip broken off...so don't hold your breath waiting on some thing to actually test and keep that is worth a crap..read the comments from the members at the top of page that tested this scope do you not find there comments a little small, didn't seem to be very excited about testing the stuff...

I purchased a Redfield 4-12x scope for use with my .223 Remington. I find the clarity and light gathering ability of the Redfield to be on par with the Nikon ProStaff scopes but not quite as good as the Leupold VX IIc's I have. The adjustment knobs are simple and straight forward and can be adjusted by hand. Bullet impact is constant throughout the magnification range of the scope. The rifle has no discernable recoil so how well this scope performs with the constant jarring of more powerful cartridges could not be determined, but I did not buy this scope for my .338 Win Mag. The scope is extremely well suited for the application that I intended it for.
