What is an alternative to large Rifle primers, large Pistol primers or large-Rifle magnum primers?
I have a 30-06 Weatherby-SS.
Please forgive me my English !?

I really don't know of a alternative Piddel. Ya might try lookin' in some of the smaller, out of the way store, that may not have yet been found by other reloaders. I do know that our store does still have a fair quanity, but they are durn spendy! $48 per thou.!
However, I live in a area were 90% of the folks reload, and most of use are always carefull to have enuff components on hand to get us thru any emergency!

DO NOT USE large pistol primers in a rifle case. They will fit but most of them have a thinner cup to allow the firing pin of the pistol to indent the cup and ignite the primer. In a rifle the firing pin can pierce the cup and cause the charge to flow back into the action! Large rifle Magnum primers will work, but you need to reduce your loads and start over developing the power charge since mag primers are usually hotter than standard primers. Slow powders work best with mag primers.

Unless you know of a way.  Or have converted your pistol or rifle to matchlock, cap, or fuse ignition.  There isn't any alternative to using a primer. Boy, talk about regression in the development of firearms. Although,  there has been been some experimentation in electric ignition.  It hasn't gone very far in small arms like it has in tanks.  Even artillery still uses a firing pin struck primer.  ahoffman2's suggestion sounds like a good idea.  Who knows.  You might luck out and find what your looking for.

You can use large rifle mag primers in your 30-06. As said before do not use pistol primers. Sometimes mag primers giver better accuracy sometimes not but always work up loads when switching primers.

Thank's guys, I already have pull the bullets out and a friend of me had a few primers left for me, so I can reload my 30 rounds and can go to the shooting ranch to test my new Weatherby SS-30-06!
It is good to know that I, if I need help, there is always someone here who reply.
I think after a few years, I have enough experience to also help others.
Thank's again !!!

It is perfectly fine to use mag primers in none mag cases. They were designed for large volumes of slow powder, ball or spherical powder and use in very cold weather. You must do your load developement with them and not bounce between mag and reg primers as pressure and accuracy can and will change.
