This is just the end result of Nanny-Statism. Our society has collapsed to the point that teachers, police, paramedics, etc. are trained to NOT think, but to just follow orders. It has been like this in Europe for over a generation and has arrived here. It will get worse. It is in all aspects of the culture now. We tend to see it in the police or teachers more often on the news but if any of you have a large employer with a professional HR dept - you know exactly what I'm talking about. They often will even joke about it as they do it! |

It's the giveaway of the Liberal/Democrap mindset of the offender having more rights than the victim or in this case the kid who acted and definitely saved one life and possibly even more. Buncha DUMBAZZES and their being PC and this is the results of that mindset. |

Under zero tolerance, if the suspended student disarmed the attacker, and too possession of the gun, then he's considered just as guilty as the original attacker! Another reason that zero tolerance doesn't work!!!!!!!!!

We all remember this{1}***** This is something new AGAIN.. If you don?t know the whole story PLEASE READ. > Subject: FW: Barbara Walters on Jane Fonda I agree whole heartedly _____ Date: Thu, 7 Mar 2013 06:24:05 -0600 Jane Fonda was on 3 times this week talking about her new book. . . and how good she feels in her 70's. . . She still does not know what she did wrong. . . Her book just may not make the bestseller list if more people knew. Barbara Walters said : Thank you all. Many died in Vietnam for our freedoms. I did not like Jane Fonda then and I don't like her now. She can lead her present life the way she wants and perhaps SHE can forget the past, but we DO NOT have to stand by with out comment and see her "honored" as a "Woman of the Century." (I remember this well.) For those who served and/or died. . . NEVER FORGIVE A TRAITOR. SHE REALLY WAS A TRAITOR!! And now President Obama wants to honor her!!!! In Memory of Lt. C.Thomsen Wieland, who spent 100 days at the Hanoi Hilton [infamous North Vietnam prison] -- IF YOU NEVER FORWARDED ANY THING IN YOUR LIFE, FORWARD THIS SO THAT EVERYONE WILL KNOW! A TRAITOR IS ABOUT TO BE HONORED. KEEP THIS MOVING ACROSS AMERICA. This is for all the kids born in the 70's and after who do not remember, and didn't have to bear the burden that our fathers, mothers and older brothers and sisters had to bear. Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the "100 Women of the Century." Barbara Walters writes: Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country, but specific men who served and sacrificed during the Vietnam War. The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot. The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat. In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison, the "Hanoi Hilton." Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell, cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was ordered to describe for a visiting American "peace activist" the "lenient and humane treatment" he'd received. He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was dragged away. During the subsequent beating, he fell forward onto the camp commandant's feet, which sent that officer berserk. In 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from double vision (which permanently ended his flying career) from the Commandant's frenzied application of a wooden baton. > From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the 47FW/DO (F-4E's). He spent 6 years in the "Hanoi Hilton". the first three of which his family only knew he was "missing in action." His wife lived on faith that he was still alive. His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and clothed routine in preparation for a "peace delegation" visit. They, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they were alive and still survived. Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his Social Security Number on it, in the palm of his hand. When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man's hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?" Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper. She took them all without missing a beat. . . At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him all the little pieces of paper... Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Colonel Carrigan was almost number four but he survived, which is the only reason we know of her actions that day. I was a civilian economic development advisor in Vietnam, and was captured by the North Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in 1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years. I spent 27 months in solitary confine-ment; one year in a cage in Cambodia; and one year in a 'black box' in Hanoi. My North Vietnamese captors deliberately poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a nurse in a leprosarium in Banme Thuot, South Vietnam, whom I buried in the jungle near the Cambodian border. At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs. (My normal weight is 170 lbs.) We were Jane Fonda's "war criminals." When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi, I was asked by the camp communist political officer if I would be willing to meet with her. I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real treatment we POWs received. and how different it was from the treatment purported by the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as "humane and lenient." Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched with a large steel weight placed on my hands, and beaten with a bamboo cane. I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda soon after I was released. I asked her if she would be willing to debate me on TV. She never did answer me. These first-hand experiences do not exemplify someone who should be honored as part of "100 Years of Great Women." Lest we forget. "100 Years of Great Women" should never include a traitor whose hands are covered with the blood of so many patriots. There are few things I have strong visceral reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in blatant treason, is one of them. Please take the time to forward to as many people as you possibly can. It will eventually end up on her computer, and she needs to know that we will never forget. RONALD D. SAMPSON, CMSgt, USAF 716 Maintenance Squadron, Chief of Maintenance DSN: 875-6431 COMM: 883-6343 PLEASE HELP BY SENDING THIS TO EVERYONE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK. IF ENOUGH PEOPLE SEE THIS MAYBE HER STATUS WILL CHANGE.

Interesting tangent so back to the topic …. Remember some key elements about most schools --- Who owns the buildings ? Who pays the teachers? Who administers the programs? That’s right, the State and Federal GOVERNMENTs ! Those are NOT public schools.

Years ago my youngest daughter who was in third grade at the time, saw a classmate showing another student a Ruger Mark ll behind the lid of his desk. She reached over and took it from him and called the teacher. By the time the teacher reached them my daughter had cleared the gun and stuck a pencil in the action so that it could not close. The chamber was empty but there were rounds in the mag. They tried to contact the local pd but the only one on was in court at the county seat. My daughter knew I was off duty that day so they called me. I asked to speak to my daughter and had her tell me what she did, and then told them that the gun was safe. They did not believe me so I went to the school. When I walked in to the classroom they had cleared all the kids out of the room and the principal, several teachers including two men, and the janitor, were all standing in a circle around my daughters desk. They were looking at the gun like it was a snake, and the janitor was standing there with a fire extinquisher. I walked up and cleared the gun and locked the slide back. I then took the gun home with me as they were not comfortable with holding it untill the local PD chief got done at court he came by later and I turned it over to him. I was saddened by the fact that no one at the school new as much as my third grade daughter about firearms. especially since we live in a farming community and most of these folks live in the community and some live on farms. They were happy with my daughter untill they asked her how she knew what to do and she told them that she had been shooting my Mark ll for several years along with most of my other guns. I had several teachers attempt to take me to task over this and I told them that at least she knew what to do. Fortunately this was before all this recent zero tolerance stuff nowadays my daughter would probably have been suspended also, and i would most likely have been reported to child protection. |

just can't fix STUPID we need to rid this world of stupid people MORE EMBARRASSMENT FOR BLOOMBERG’S ANTI-GUN MAYORS GROUP, SAYS SAF BELLEVUE, WA – Three more names have been added to a veritable rogue’s gallery of current or former members of Michael Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns who have run afoul of the law with Thursday’s criminal charges against Marcus Hook, Pa. Mayor James Schiliro, the Second Amendment Foundation said today. “Mayor Schiliro is one more example of why we started the ‘Gun Owners Against Illegal Mayors’ campaign,” said SAF Executive Vice President Alan Gottlieb. “He joins recently-convicted former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, and recently-indicted former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, both of whom were MAIG members.” SAF launched Gun Owners Against Illegal Mayors last fall, “and the list keeps growing,” said Gottlieb. “Schiliro’s case is not only bad, but bizarre,” Gottlieb observed. “He’s been charged with false imprisonment, unlawful restraint, reckless endangerment, serving alcohol to a minor and other crimes, and he also allegedly used more than one gun in this incident, in which at least one shot was fired. “The allegations against Schiliro creeped me out,” he said. “With associates like this, I can understand why Bloomberg doesn’t trust people with guns. “According to published reports,” he continued, “Schiliro’s attorney says the mayor has sold his guns and entered alcoholism treatment, but this doesn’t get any traction with me. If the charges against this guy are proven in court, he deserves to have the book thrown at him, same as Mayor Bloomberg would demand if any other gun owner did what police and prosecutors think Schiliro did. “It is amusing,” Gottlieb added, “that Schiliro – who signed an infamous letter to the U.S. Senate with 600 other mayors – has suddenly disappeared from the MAIG roster on that group’s website. “Mayor Bloomberg should be more interested in the conduct of MAIG members than trying to pry into the personal lives of gun owners or soda drinkers,” he stated. “If anybody needs a background check, it would be a MAIG member.” The Second Amendment Foundation (www.saf.org) is the nation’s oldest and largest tax-exempt education, research, publishing and legal action group focusing on the Constitutional right and heritage to privately own and possess firearms. Founded in 1974, The Foundation has grown to more than 650,000 members and supporters and conducts many programs designed to better inform the public about the consequences of gun control. tpd's story reminded me of something that happened while I was in college, probably 1989/90. In a private Christian college I was working part time as campus security while attending. One day I was in the security office killing time when one of our newer guards, a nice young guy from somewhere up north came running in in a lather exclaiming there was a guy in his speech class with a rifle! The chief cmae out and as he was gearing up to respon asked the boy questions and it was almost immediately apparent that it was just a demonstration prop for the guy's speech that day. We went over and kind of tepidly looked in so as to not draw attention and the guy was indeed showing the parts and function of his scoped Remington 700 to class as part of a speech. The newbie guard was incredulous that we were not barging in like SWAT to take him down. Chief sort of laughed and told him to get used to guns in TN and we walked away leaving the newbie guard to decide whether or not he wanted to go back into a classroom with a rifle in it or stand in the hall pouting. |
