Well, over the past few months and the recent election, some of my so called friends have let me down. We talk about gun control and laws that should be inforced. I asked three friends today if they belonged to the NRA, they all said in one way or another they would rather keep a low profile. I am a Life member, step up, now is the time, I lost three friends

People who don't vote, or who fail to utilize the available avenues with which to have their voices heard, have no right to complain about the excesses of our Government. Keeping a low profile is the same as hiding their heads in the sand, and is contrary to being a patriot. They should be booted out of the country along with the illegals and the damn Muslims!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even if the NRA doesn't fit an individual's personal idea of the organization to best represent them, there are other organizations that still fight for gun rights, so there is no reason for any gun owner NOT to be involved.  Even if all they participate in is letter writing campaigns and phone calls.  Ignoring and doing nothing is providing encouragement!!!!!!!!!

It is not just the gun issues we should worried about. There are so many laws that attempt to prevent harm that take away liberty and freedom. We need to move away from the same thing as gun control is trying to. Stop try to protect people not only from themselves, but takeing their liberty and freedom for things they could possibly do, and really punish them for the actuall harm they do. If frogs had wings they would be a bird.

Both my Reps and Senators know me by name simply by constantly seeing or hearing it so much. I send, emails, I hand write letters, and I call on a regular basis and I do all on mnay different things and not just gun issues. One of my Reprsentatives lives 200 yards down the street from me and I see him a lot and always stop and talk with him when out and about. One of my Senators lives no more than 5 miles from me and we have has him as a guest speaker at some of our community meetings. He is the one that sponsored and got passed what at the time was the toughest immigration laws in this country. He is also the one that I offered my services as his family's protector when he was in DC because he recieved many death threats from the illegals. Just as RT said if you are not involved in fighting for and finding solutions to the many problems we face then you are a part of the problem and have no right to complain about anything. Everyone should be emailing, hand writing letters, and calling your Reps and Senators offices. A handwritten letter shows them you are willing to take the time to write them as well as calling shows them you are aware of what they are or are not doing. When writing or calling always be polite especially when calling as the person answering the phone are doing a job and they are also the ones who see that your message reaches the right person in a timely fashion. GET INVOLVED !!!!!
