That goes to show you that if enough people get together they can get things done .

A small victory in a long battle, don't forget the South won many a battle but still lost the war. There are still many gun ignorant people out there being enfluanced by the anti-gun MSM.

It is getting better, but one of the first post I made on here that still stands true. Gun owners are divided. Is a .223 a good gun to hunt with does it have enough knock down power the list goes on, vs a 300 win mag. Bolt action vs simi-auto that list goes on. There are many gun owners who ask or do not like the AR style rifles, and don’t know why anyone would want one. And as I said in that very first post as we fight about BS among ourselves in the front yard with all the neighbors watching the gun grabbers are going in our back doors and taking as many guns as they can, almost unnoticed. The why of why do you need a gun like that, don’t matter. Because I can own it and the 2nd Amendment says I can. It don’t matter what I use it for, I am not asking you to use one. We all have a choice and a preference. That not only applies to guns, it applies to all things, and that is why the gun grabbing Democrats are gaining control. There are many out there that the gun debate means little to them one way or the other, they don’t care. They have other issue they want address, and the Democrats are doing that. There are issues out there that the Republicans are as unreasonable and steadfast on as the Anti-gun Democrats are. While the Republicans argue in the front yard about things that are really none of their business in the first place the Dems are coming in the back door. Just like the gun issue no body is asking or telling you because I like this gun you have to use one as well. Just don’t tell me I can not, should not have one. If the Republicans loss the house in midterms because we fail to apply the well actually it is none of my business sentiment to many other issues, we are going to be really screwed. They will get their gun bans along with many other things. JMHO. The gun battle is just a battle,in a war with many other fronts that the Democrats are winning. They don't have to win this battle, to win the war. Once they win the war this battle in the end will not have mattered, they will still get and take our rights to defend our selves.

Charlie the debate about caliber choices, is why I am trying to own one of everything!!!!!!!!!! Currently I'm strictly between .22lr and .300wsm in rifles, and .25 to .45acp, .44mag and everything in between in handguns ( do need a .454 and a .50 ), but I do have .16 ga., 20 ga., and .12 ga. shotguns, just need a nice little .28 ga!

Ron I am with you on that. I have a .22 pistal, a .380 Micro Eagle, to a .50 Desert Eagle. .44 Mag, and in between. It is not what anyone thinks I need, it is what I want and I can own and the 2nd Amendment does not say what I can own, but that  I can own by my choice. And that is my point the Constitution does not allow anyone to push their beliefs and morals on to others. The Democrats are doing it in a differant more deceptive way than the Republicans, but it is more appealing than the way Republicans are doing it.
