Hunting Forum

Anybody signed up for the LM turkey hunt at Paradise Valley?  I can't afford to go on the hunt, but since Ehrhardt is only about 20-25 miles from my house, I thought if any of you are going to participate we might get together while you're that close.  The hunting should be good, since there are plenty of birds in the area and the place is well managed.

Ron, I'm in the same boat as you. I'd love to go, but it's out of my budget range. But I like your idea. Would be nice to meet up with the guys that are going.

Tom, I plan to be in my own little piece of turkey woods, especially since I watched a parade of them across my front yard one day last week.

Thought about it, but,..money issues here, too. Would have definately liked to have met up with ya, too!

I also looked at that hunt but with the travel costing as much or more than the hunt I figured I wasn't even going to run it past the Chief Financial Officer aka wife. But the meeting would have been fun, great idea.

Lettuce see now, got a goose lease that let's me hunt turkls about 20 minutes from house, saw several burds including a two year old run across road heading toward WMA that requires no special permit from me two days ago about five minutes from house, got bud in SE MO that expects me to come hunt with him, SEMO bud won a hunt for two in KS or NB and I am "Two", got a TX freind who says I shud come use the turkey tags on my TX lic that I had for Blackbuck and deer, my guy and gal in SD want to know when I am coming again, my MT buds say they have a free ranch hunt lined up.......think I will pass this geat opportunity.....

I think it would be great to go on this hunt to meet other members, but I got too many turkeys here to spend that kind of money. Now if there was a Colorado elk, different story.

It would be nice but I cant afford the fuel to up there from southwest Florida! Plus you wont catch me on a plane.
