If any of you old timers remember Jim Deacon, and happen to have any contact information for him. I would appreciate it if you would pm me and help me to locate him.  Jim used to be a regular participant here, until the rash of bannings that occurred several years ago, at which time he came over to the EDH site.  We haven't heard from him since the hurricane hit New York, and frankly many are concerned.  In the past I had only communicated with him through PMs on the EDH site, so I never had his e-mail or phone number.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Damn,  I feel bad.  I never paid any attention to the fact he hasn't been posting. I really need to try get on this stupid thing more often.

I located a Jim Deacon in Webster, NY, but there was no phone number listed. The age was appropriate, but so far, no one has been able to locate him. The last word I had was in a pm on the EDH site, before Sandy hit up there.

That sucks. Sandy only really battered the coast here. I think JD was upstate or western NY. If he is MIA I doubt it has anything to do with Sandy.

Yep, Webster is above Rochester and not far from Lake Ontario. The Jim Deacon I located was 69 years old, which I believe is appropriate; but I couldn't come up with any other information. I fear the worst.

Jim stopped coming to this site a couple of years ago when all of the bannings took place and posts were being deleted; but, he had been a regular on the EDH site. No one over there has been able to come up with a way to contact him, since the site had to go back to Zeta boards, from the Pro-boards site. He did post after the change, but like I stated, nothing since Sandy.

Damn... I just saw this myself... I've missed Jim's great stories as well as his often esoteric answers for about 3 years now... I hope for the best for Jim, I hope all is well with him.

Great news. Cashman just received an e-mail from Jim. He's had some computer problems and now has his two year old grandson to raise, on top of that. Hopefully, he'll be returning to the EDH site with some of his great stories in the near future.
