Any of you watch the WWE Monday Night Raw wrestling and if so have you noticed Jack Swagger and his friend Zeb Coulter? They are almost preaching the right things about Patriotism but the way they are doing it is as if they are purposely trying to make a mockery of the idea of patriotism. They are purposely trying to seem as if they are more about racism and being more like radical white power types than about the true movement going on today. Kind of makes me wonder if this is another attempt on the part of big television to make a good movement look like radicals and nutcases. Just a thought and wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

I myself find it appalling at how many people watch wrestling and reality tv shows period. Just shows the mentality of those that watch such obvious BS and to say that the ones you named are doing this is not that far a reach to believe as the ones watching them have already IMO shown just how easy they are to get to believe whatever.

I have never, nor do I intend to ever watch any MMA or similar bullsh*t. The only "reality" television I watch is Duck Dynasty, and some of the hunting programs. The only sports I watch are NASCAR, the NFL and SEC football, and the occasional ACC and Southern Conference football game.

I basically watch Discovery Channel, Smithsonian, History, ID. AXS TV (Great Concerts), Military Channels, Sci Fi, MSG (only when Sabres are on), Current(for laughs), and a few others. Some of the network shows I like are Touch, Elementary, Body of Proof, and a couple others. Most of what is on the Big Four is trash. I like not to just be entertained but prefer to be entertained in such a way that you have to think and try and figure out whodunit. Or just to learn cool useless stuff about the Universe our ancient past or the fact that at or about 1909 Einstien stopped wearing socks and combing his hair.

I realize that some or even most of you do not watch wrestling and I guess my intent at asking about this has been misconstrued. Let me ask this instead: I am wondering if any of you think it far fetched that any television show at all could be used in such a manner as to make a good movement look so crazy by the acts that I described in my original post? I personally do not watch wrestling I am reading a book while the better half is watching it. The talk the first night these two characters came on caught my attention and I listened in then. Personally I do not watch much television at all as I would rather read any book at all up to and including a phone book.

Steve, I saw what you are talking about on the news, and they were asking about the same things you are. There are poeple who watch wrestling and believe it is real they have their favorite wristlers and the hated ones. This two do seem to be the disliked ones, this causes some in the more conservitive media and me to ask what is the WWE tring to do with these two and their ranting, and racist over tones. There are some stupid poeple out there that could be stired up in a bad way, by these actors who can bring out some strong emotions in some unstable poeple.
