Does anyone have any experience with the new Primos bombshell push/pull type turkey call? Saw an ad on TV for it and it looks pretty nice. But I'm keeping in mind, most calls were designed to attract turkey HUNTERS and not the actual turkey.  |

Leslie, I don't know about this call from Primos, but I have one called "the egg"(I believe it was a Hunter's Specialities product). The problem with mine was the little friction piece wouldn't stay in place. This one had a velcro strap to attach it to the barrel of the gun and a lanyard to pull that moved the rod across the friction box. I believe I used it twice and went back to the slate and box calls. I've since learned how to use diaphragm calls, and now use those, along with the slate and two different box calls. |

WAIT!!! In another month the "latest, greatest,guaranteed, never failed, most amazing new" product will come out!
Ron, need I remind that I kilt my furst turkl burd wearing white socks, blue jeans, John Deere cap and a red flannel shirt using a piece of slate I picked up from creek bottom and a piece of hickory limb I whittled on???? Guess none of that would work now......but that was way back when there wasn't any turkls and they are smarter now......hmmmm.....maybe that cap was a DeKalb corn hat..... |
