If Bloombrg and all these politicians justify banning trans fats, 1L soda's, and other items for heath reasons, than why not alcohol!
How can politicians justify one and not the other????  Tobaccy too!!

Besides the below, just think of how  much domestic and child abuse may be reduced.

No alcohol, then all those on disability for alcohol addiction can come off and WORK!!!

Many cancer deaths traced to alcohol

Seem to me We had a ban on Alcohol in this Country before, that worked out so very well the frist time, maybe we should try it again. It does fit the definition insanity, all the Liberals seem to ignore, and continue to try to do over and over again .

I know what we need to ban ... and it's not alcohol!
"The BIG Lie" The phrase was also used in a report prepared during the war by the United States Office of Strategic Services in describing Hitler's psychological profile:[5][6] His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.[7]

It would make sense to ban alcohol especially now that marijuana is becoming legalized in more states.

Yep, banning alcohol worked and when they lifted the ban on booze, they started banning drugs and published a whole batch of stuff which convinced people that the government was lying about everything. I don't know if they were lying but there was sure some exaduration (remember "Reefer Madness").
They truth is one cannot outlaw immorality without a moral basis for things and since the "anti-religion" groups have and are still trying to undermine all of these cornerstones of morality, things keep getting worse.

Unfortunately, they have not figured out a way to outlaw stupidity. Wizards first rule; "People are stupid".

"You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time" but with the education system we now have, you can fool most of the people all the time!
