This comes from the same woman who told Chris Matthews that the First Amendment protects our gun rights, while at the same time promoting AR15 and high capacity magazine bans!!!!! I guess, as in the case of Obamacare, she's never bothered to read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights; even though she swore to uphold them!!!!!!!

I'm glad that someone else caught that the bietch doesn't know the constitution. I had to rewind it a few times just to make sure that i heard it right. I wonder if the IRS would let me open up a charge account to pay my taxes?

I saw an interview with Congressman Charles Rangal, he said about the same thing. Most of us here have paid into SS and Medicare all our lives, we paid money in to a type of retirement Program sponsored by the Government. And like any investor, we are entiled to a return on that money like any other investor in any investment program. But they will not talk about the real entitlement programs, where the Government is just giving money to people who have done nothing to earn it nor do they want to or any thing else. They talk about loop holes, how about the holes in all the Government hand out program. There are people getting their tax returns and getting more than they actualy paid in by thousands of dollars. I can see maybe getting back the amount you paid in but not more, and for what having children. BS. Some need to close a hole and keep it closed until they can be responsible for their actions (Off spring)

SS is a program to redistribute wealth... it takes from those working and gives to those that don't.

Wonder why the government wants to ban guns to Americans and is now buying thousands of full automatic weapons and millions of rounds of ammo for those weapons?

When I found out a person could get full SS benefits because they were either an alcoholic or drug addict is when I knew that without and beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was a very serious problem. While visiting a friend one day a feller came in that looked familiar to me and after asking his name it turns out he is the younger brother of another friend I had not seen in many years. He came in carrying a small cooler full of beer. After the usual talk it got around to what everybody was doing these days as far as work. He then tolod me that he was on full SS disability and when I asked for what he then told me it was becasue he was an alcoholic. I was astoundedas here he was carrying around a cooler full of beer and not working ye was able to do everything anybody not disabled could do. It is ludicrous for the SS to be paying him to stay home and drink. The same for drug addicts is true. They did a local news story here and showed a drug addict who is getting the full SS benefits and uses his check to buy drugs, cut them with whatever it was he was using, and keeping the uncut drugs for himself and selling the other for a sizable profit which he used to buy more drugs with. I mean WTH ????? I could see and think that we should have both alcohol and drug rehab clinics but to finance their habits is just insane to me.

You got that one right B D .The money in those two entitlements as they call them now were not set up that way .They were put in trusts just so the government could not touch them .And then came along a democrats were running everything and under LBJ changed that and spent billions out of them .Now they call them entitlements .

Pelosi's problem isn't with spending-- it's with reality. By-the-way, Social Security, as originally enacted was a SUPPLIMENTAL retirement fund. It was never intended to be someone's sole source of retirement income. It was never intended to be anything else. Then Congress was came into session...

Washington doesn't have a spending problem, as I see it they spend way to much.
