I have the Sigma .40 which is basically the same gun. I've never had any problems with it, and inside of 25 yards it's about as good as any other .40 cal for accuracy.

mowgle, down here there is still plenty of .9mm ammo available. We can't find .22lr, but no problem with the .9.

Isn't that gun double action only? It may get a little heavy trigger shooting numerous rounds at the range, but at an assailant, who cares? Have fun with it.

IMHO If you are happy with it, who cares what others think! Only thing I might say is why just 1 and how much ammo did you get with it?

I have the SW 5906 and it is "DEAD ON" for accuracy. However, I feel that it is too much/big for my home protection. I live in a small house where by design, my longest shot would be no more than 15 feet. I look at the 5906 as my "Public" protection in the event that I encounter a situation in "Public" and may need to engage out to 30-50ft or beyond. And I know that it will do it because I have verified it at the range many times. Center mass was mentioned, and to me, any shooting distance beyond 25 ft goes into the center mass targeting technique. Not a problem with this weapon!

3 boxes of ammo? Sounds like you have enough to defend the heck out of yourself if someone tries to break in!

I have one of the newer Sigma series and they are will made. The one you have is an earlier version I believe, but still a good handgun. Enjoy it!

I picked up a new Taurus Millenium model 745, which is .45 acp. Sweet little gun. It's very slim and can be carried in my pants pocket without being noticable........and the price was very nice. I'm still waiting on my new XDS to arrive. Springfield Armory and Ruger are both way behind on shipments to their distributors.

My guy was busy, because his help was late getting to the show, so I sold a few guns for him while hanging around his booth. I sold all of his sw9ve and sw40ve models, and a Millenium in both the PT380 and the PT9 versions in less than 15 minutes. Lucky for me I already had the PT.45 paid for and under the table.

Mwalton7, what do you think of the trigger feel on your gun? A lot of people complain about how long and hard it is to pull. I have one in 40 cal. I found on youtube how to fix that and make it a lot better. I did that and it works great. Other than that, I have never heard of anybody ever having any problem with that gun whatsoever.

Hey iteston...sorry you had to wait for a resonse.Been busy. Yeah, theres alittle play in the trigger but I kinda like a little play, helps me concentrate on my target. Im happy with it.I try to shoot it about twice a week, but I think im going to slow down a bit to save ammo...

The trigger safety is the one thing I don't like about this Taurus PT745 Pro. I'm having to get used to pulling the trigger for it to set before firing. This is the first gun I've ever had or shot that has this feature, so it's definitely a new experience. I've found that I'm more accurate with rapid fire than selective shooting with this feature.
