Gun Owners' Action League - GOAL Tidbits

Two points about this article in the Globe on Monday discussing the rise in violent crime since "the nations toughest gun laws" were passed in 1998:
1. If there really are gang members etc.. receiving guns from out of state why is there no record of a straw purchasing arrest in the state of MA? EVER.
2. Why are MA legislators pushing for tougher/more laws in MA when they are saying the problems are occurring out of state? Especially in regard to point 1!
Meanwhile, Governor Patrick is trying to reduce prison sentences for juvenile murder convicts. Major disconnect!

The common denominator... politicians = criminals.

"The BIG Lie" The phrase was also used in a report prepared during the war by the United States Office of Strategic Services in describing Hitler's psychological profile:[5][6] His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.[7]
