The insurance companies must be eating this up! They are the only ones that will benefit here. The cost may prevent legal ownership!

The gun grabbers agenda includes raising taxes on guns and ammo, as well as banning of certain gun designs, and any other backdoor approach such as California's proposal that will result in disarming legal gun owners in this country. We not only have to fight the Feinsteins, but any and all attempts however innocuous they may seem. Remember that given an inch, they will ultimately take a mile; and in the case of gun rights, the mile they want is complete gun registration leading to confiscation. Any insurance requirement is registration, any way it's viewed.

They should attach...

If you have prescription drugs or alcohol also you will need special liability insurance.. More kids get into their parents drugs and booze than firearms.
How manny kids or hurt/killed or wifves/spouses beaten because of drugs and alcohol!

So here is what the libs are pressing for in Washington State.

http://apps.leg.wa.gov/documents/bi...s/1703.pdf

5 (a) Twenty-five dollars for every firearm sold at retail; or
6 (b) Fifteen dollars for every firearm sold at retail if a gun safe
7 or a gun lock is purchased at the time of sale with a firearm.

But here is the kicker, it says Top of page 4.

1 (a) "Ammunition" means cartridge cases, primers, bullets, or
2 propellant powder designed for use in any firearm.

So does that mean .01C for every primer, and bullet. Grain of powder?
