Not sure if you have seen the ratings for CNN, but you just may have been the only one watching. Appears from the ratings that no one does care what the brit says or anyone else on the station for that matter. By the way, a friend of mine was in an argument with a british guy about American imperialism and our gun culture. My friend looked at him and said "you ought to think about what you are saying buddy, if it were not for the armed American public sending their personal arms over to you brits during the second world war and then the imperialistic American boys that died in that European war or yours, your little island would have sunk under the weight of German armor." I thought to myself, enough said. The problem is that most everyone thinks that some idiot like Hitler cannot rise and threaten the world again.
