So? What does one have to do with the other? They had a global drought 5,000 years ago. Now, we're having MAN MADE climate change.
Here's what I don't get- you guys are doomsday prophets when it comes to most things- why do you chose to stick your heads in the sand (pun intended) when it comes to anthrpogenic global warming?

What about the fact that earth's orbit is also decreasing in distance from the Sun, every year? We know that all solar systems eventually implode and the planets closest to their suns are sucked into that implosion while the farthest planets are shattered and with the loss of gravitational pull, end up careening through space as asteroids and meteorites. Also, remember that we have had several instances in the last four decades where solar flares have disrupted radio telemetry signals; are we to believe that has no type of long term effect? The quote from the report that was used to begin this thread, was also supported by several other independent agencies, including our own NOAA, and the British equivalent. I am not a scientist, nor am I an expert on climatology; I don't claim to know the definitive answers. Maybe man is contributing a percentage to the problem; but I honestly believe that overall, we are seeing the natural decline and the cyclic nature of our planet's existence.

But I just heard fat old Al on the radio the other day and he never said anything about this. He is still saying that it is all caused by humans.

all I know is the weather is purty much the same today as it was 40 years aGO WHEN i WAS A BOY. and I suspect it will not change much more till after I die,soI can't say I much give a chit about climate change{1}**** the next generation, they can deal with thier problems just as we must deal with ours.and if global warming is real, well, it's better to burn out than just fade away!
