The comment that the devices were 1-2 steps away from being ready to explode is a stretch if it was a can filled with pellets.  Hell, I store my shot for reloading on a coffee can... Is that an IED in progress??? NOT!

But the below proves one does not need a gun to do massive damage.

A search of Shrout's home found several small tobacco cans and two large cans, all with holes drilled in them and containing pellets, Taylor told the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer.

he wrote about what he was gonna do and then let a teacher get the journal?he's either a total dumbas or this is a bs story.thank GOD he was only gonna use a bomb,  imagine the damage he could have caused with a semi-auto.
