Ive been looking for a new muzzleloader for about a year nor just waiting to see what the best price i could get and a gun i would really like so i went to my local sporting goods store and found a cva wolf in camo i like  the gun and it was a good price so i bought it i ended up buying my rings and bases of line i wanted the se thru bases for the iron sights and put a tasco 3-9x40 scope on it nt top of the line but it would work for me so i mounted the scope today used my boresighter to zero it in but the scope is zerod in to the left will not go further has ne one had any issues with this or is it just me i have changed rings, scopes and still does the same thing

Sounds to me that you don't have the scope base mounted properly or you're not installing your boresighter straight with the barrel. Have you tried shooting the rifle to see where it's actually aligned to.

First thank you for welcoming me to the group and when i look down the iron sights at the bore sighter it is perfectly striaght its just with the scope that was my next plan take the scope mounts off and see if they installed correctly i was thinking maybe the holes got drilled in the wron location at the factory or something when i do i might shoot it a couple times to see if the iron sights are on or not

Welcome!! You may be right when considering your problem lies with the holes for the scope base being misalligned. The CVA wolf is the lowest end of the CVA line but does have a reputation for being a pretty fair shooter. Just be sure that you read the manual thoroughly before venturing out to make any smoke. Also you just might want to find a mentor that regularly shoots a front loader and sit at their knee for a bit as shooting a muzzle loader is quite different than just stuffing a cartridge in and pulling the trigger. Cleaning the rifle is different than a modern rifle too. My suggestion is to try to determine if the scope base is aligned properly with the bore and if not, call CVA and see what they have to say.

Welcome and congrats on the new muzzleloader. Just my two cents worth, but before you go out and shoot it, why not try removing the breechplug and sighting through the bore rather than using a bore sighter which can easily get out of alignment.

Welcome .When I bought my inline I had the same problem from a Tradition.I bought a set of bases that were not right for the gun .When all said and done I had to buy another set of bases .And it all worked out .

You also need to make sure the rings are aligned with each other with a ring aligner and then make sure you havent over tighten the srews that hold the scope thereby crushing the tube which is easily done. I would recommend lapping the rings in. This kit made by Wheeler with all the stuff to do so for 1" tubes and 30mm for about $75. this may sound like a lot but you have it for life and it mounts your scopes correctly and your friends( of course for a small fee of beer). you also need to make sure it is level with the gun.

The biggest reason I bought mine was because when I went to Dicks and bought my Leupold to go on my Moss 930 they installed and bore sighted it for free so I said why not. When the guy put it on I asked if he was going to put a level on it and they didn't even have that. He told me he could eye ball it! Needless to say that wasn't going to happen again. To me if the rings arent aligned and scope level with gun all the boresighting in the world won't help. If $75 is to much get together with some buddy's and go in together, it's not like it will break as it is steel. I actually got a device that goes on my bore sighter that makes a line across the target and it also has a level on it.Once you have your scope proper installed you put this in the barrel level the gun, level the bore sighter then check the crosshairs and the line and cross hairs should be level with each other. I dont know if this is your problem but these are thing you can do. Go to midwayUSA's website and check out video of proper scope installation to see if you are doing something wrong. My $.02 worth.
