Well did you put in for stuff stuff and fill out all the different sections and profiles .And then go in and chose which products you wish to test .You can chose up to ten .You do all that in your dashboard .Some people think you have to be members of the other clubs to do the profile on them .You do not have to belong to them .If you have not fill them out .You have nothing to lose .Good luck . |

You don't get approved. After you complete your profile on SS and make your ten selections based on your points totals; you just have to wait and see if you get selected to test. There are NO guarantees of getting picked, just the opportunity to possibly get picked, as stated in your membership agreement. The more active you are on SS, the more points you can build and the more likely your chances of getting selected will increase. Under the old program, I never tested a single item in over 35 years of membership. Since SS, I've tested 4 items since August. I started out with 25 points, and now have 341, by liking items, doing reviews on stuff that I've actually owned or used (thermaCell is an example), and by posting test reports with pictures after getting an item. Be sure and select some of the lowest point products and that will also increase your opportunities. Most people simply go for the highest point total products they are eligible for, which are the products that offer the least chances of getting picked for, due to lower quantities made available by the manufacturers. Also, be sure to complete the profiles for the fishing, gardening, cooking and handyman clubs, since you earn an additional 5 points for each profile. Then you can also select items from those areas which open up your possibilities of getting picked. |

Be happy you are at least registered! Under the old system I would get something every two to three years. Nothing really great but something nonetheless. Since the transfer to StuffStuff I have been locked out, so to speak. Several times I have tried to register but always get the same error message. When I try to register the website says I am already registered but then says "The partner account you are attempting to connect is ineligible for StuffStuff access. Please review the StuffStuff faq to learn more about membership or contact us if you believe you've gotten to this page in error". The help desk at SS keeps telling me there is no record of me belonging to NAHC even though NAHC has sent me reminders to register. What a circle jerk! |

I have been a member for a few years now and have had great experiences with the club personally. I got a call last year asking why I never returned my life memberships and what my reason was for not wanting to be one. They were very nice about it. I told them I was still in high school and didn't have the money, and the lady apologized for bothering me with the phone call, and only get the membership offer a few times a year instead of every month like before. As for testing stuff... In the old system I got a book, turkey call, and then just before the switch to stuff stuff I got an electric jacket from Manitowoc company (works great by the way for short sits). Once we switched to stuff stuff, I went through the process, and some issues with getting access allowed but a few emails fixed it and they sent an apology email after everything was sorted out. I got to test the scent killer gold product, and was then selected to test the scent arrow tip things. After waiting a few months and getting nothing I finally got an email saying the manufacturer decided not to give out the test products. Instead they just gave me 10 points to make up for it. Like I said I have had great experiences with the club and the testing product. I would like to say, that if you only joined to get free testing products you joined for the wrong reasons in my opinion. Just my 2 cents. |
